Tips for a Successful Virtual Urgent Care Visit:

Check out our Virtual Visit Frequently Asked Questions page!

Reach out to your insurance company.

As with any healthcare visit, we recommend patients reach out to their specific insurance provider to confirm coverage prior to their Virtual Visit. No insurance? No problem! We are able to offer Virtual Urgent Care Visits under our standard Prompt-Pay program.

Reserve your spot.

To reserve your spot in line for a ClearChoiceMD Virtual Urgent Care Visit, please click here.

Wait for your invitation link.

A link will be sent via text message or email with an invitation to your Virtual Visit appointment. Once received, click on the link and wait for your provider to join the call. Be sure to check video quality on your device prior to your visit by using “Pre-call Test”.

Check your tech.

What device are you going to use for your Virtual Visit? It can be a computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet. Make sure the device is charged or plugged in and has a reliable internet connection. Be sure to close all unnecessary programs on your device.

Get ready for registration.

To minimize wait time with registration, please take a picture of your license and a picture of the front and back of your insurance card in advance.

Prepare your medical history.

Have a list of chronic illnesses and current medication available.

Make a list of your current symptoms.

When did symptoms start and how severe are they? Do you have a headache, fatigue or stomach pains?

Set up for success.

Find a quiet, private and well-lit space in your home where you can focus solely on getting the care you need. Make sure to hold the camera or aim the webcam at eye level.

Ask questions.

Be sure to ask your provider any questions if something during your visit is unclear regarding medications or your treatment plan.

* If the patient is under 18, both the patient and parent or guardian need to be visible during the visit.

** Patients will not be seen while operating any type of vehicle.  Please follow all Federal, State and Local laws regarding hands free utilization of devices.
